Words And W-o-r-d-s

Watch this:

denominations= demon-nations.

It gets better:

Beliefs= Be-"LIE"-fs or Believe=Be-"LIE"-ve

In other words, demons use denominations to instill beliefs, part of God's truth and never the whole truth (John 17:17), so that the people will believe the LIE part.

If I may, allow me to share my point:

Remember the most famous "lie"(remember belief) EVER:

You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. (Gen 3).

It was Satan's "belief"(LIE) death would NOT occur and then Eve believed(LIE) it. In other words, Eve believed in her denomination or the demon(nation) of Satan.

You see, salvation is spoken of in the bible as being a very important subject. Of all the topics Christians, non Christan's, real Christians and fake Christiians argue over, it is my opinion the very most important topic is the subject of salvation. Here's why:

By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,...(1 Cor 15:2-3)

Key Points:

-the gospel that Jesus and Paul taught leads to salvation by way of obedience
-salvation was passed on to the brothers as being of FIRST IMPORTANCE

Let me share with you this vital TRUTH:

Remember the father of Lies, the Devil? Consider were he will ultimately spend eternity:

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Rev 20:10)

Key Point:

-the devil is a deceiver (uses denominations)
-the devil will be thrown into the Lake of burning sulfer and tormented day and night, for ever and ever.

How long is day and night and for ever and ever? A very long time. The word tormented here comes from the greek word Basanizo. It means to question by applying torture, to torture, to vex with grievous pains (of body or mind), to torment, to be harassed, distressed. Now Consider the following scripture:

"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers,
the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts,
the idolaters and all liars -- their place will
be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
This is the second death" (Rev. 21:8).

Did you happen to notice that the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murders, the SEXUALLY IMMORAL, practioners of magic arts, the idolaters and all liars will end in the same exact place as the devil, the lake of burning sulfer? And, greed equals idolaters too:

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.(Col 3:5)

It's God's Kingdom that true Godly children are after. True Godly children put to death their earthly or sinful nature. The wicked are NOT God's children unless they repent and change accordlingly:

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit
the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived:
Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers
nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves
nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers
will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Cor. 6:9,10).

In other words, many confess to Love God and will be saved in Gods Kingdom by way of their mouths. Turns out that their words are nothing more than empty thoughts that lead to empty actions. Consider that Jesus taught:

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' (Matt 7)

May we all repent and change accordingly.

Love, Peace and Joy,

I very much like your references to 1 Corinthians 15. I wonder if it is read and understood sufficiently. The Apostle Paul gives us a well argued chapter here on the resurrection from the dead for those who try their best to be obedient to God. Jesus is the 'Firstfruits from the dead', and if we truly wish to be found faithful we must follow Jesus' selfless example so that we will not be rejected when he returns to set up his Father's kingdom.

Words are easy but we must live our lives showing our faith in God's salvation to others so that they might also have a true hope to guide them.

Thank you for reading the post. God bless!

I don't get the Denomination demon nation
DENOM and DEMON? Little twisting?

I do get all your warning about sin ....
and the good news is....what? It seems like you need to take it one step farther.

May the Truth rest with those who can hear and those who can see.
Thank you and God Bless!!

Although I agree with your points about people believing a lie, for they never check things out properly for themselves in the Bible, you must bear in mind that the Devil/Satan is just refering to an adversary /or lier against the LORD God or His people. The Book of Revelation contains metaphor as in 'Death riding on a light horse" and creatures with many horns representing nations/empires or kings. It was and is a vision sent to John of those things which were to shortly come to pass. There are, of course the opening of the Book of Life, the return of Jesus and the beginning chapters of Revelation which are more straightforward to understand but the lake of fire and the devil/satan and that old dragon are clearly metaphor. God is to destroy the power of sin forever in the Kingdom which he will set up for his Father. I Corinthians 15 shows this kingdom being perfected and Jesus himself being subject to his Father.
