The Mondays: 10 Random Thoughts For the Week of September 7, 2009
Now, on a more positive note... I went to a concert this weekend in Berkeley. India Arie and John Legend. The most amazing moment of the show was delivered not by John Legend, not by India Arie, but by India's mom who performed a duet with her daughter to close the show. Probably one of my favorite moments of 2009.
Now, I have gotten a late start to the week and thankfully it is a short week as well. That means less time to do more. So with that, here are some of my favorite random thoughts to help get you through the week:
1. I think I have become friends with many people on Facebook so that I won't ever have to make plans with them in real life.
2. Three some's are a bad idea. Just like Melrose Place during the Heather Locklear years, the "special guest star" always steals the show.
3. Why is it during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly nervous? I know my name. I know where I am from. These are not tough questions and yet...
4. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
5. What did the, ummm, we'll call it "sexually adventurous" do before Craigslist?
6. Even if I knew your social security number, I wouldn't know what to do with it.
7. Speaking from experience, on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than diamonds Kay Jewelers. Trust me.
8. I play well with others... I run with scissors.
9. I clicked your Facebook link you posted on Twitter announcing you were dumping MySpace. And then I blocked you on all three.
10. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this. EVER.
OK. A little bit of a late start for me this week, but I really do need to get back to doing some real work. Step 1, make it through Monday. Step 2, repeat daily. Step 3, take to celebrating on Friday.
Later gators!

Of course I called him out on it once I heard what the site was about..shameful of him really.. | |
