just wanted to take a quick moment to apologize to all members of this group as I take my leave from this "experience" and from participation in this "experience" thread.
It was never my intention to step on any one persons toes. I truly believed I was sharing my own "random thoughts" and that it made the most sense to share within this group as I originally created my own in "I Have Random Thoughts" only to find that others already shared this same sentiment.
I hope you all will continue to share your own thoughts in your own ways and please feel free to reach out to me personally via PM with your own random thoughts or for mine for for just a simple chat.
And for a final random thought... perhaps we read things too much with our own lens rather than that of the person who originated it. I have both learned today that I am guilty of this as I viewed this group to be something else, I viewed it in terms of what it meant to me... and on the other hand, my experiences that I shared have been viewed differently than I intended them because others have viewed it with their own lens and points of view.
Keep the random thoughts coming, each and everyone of you in your own ways. They will all find their way to someone who most definitely understands where you are coming from... at least from their point of view.

I always thought of the experience name as being whatever each person perceived it to be, and that there was nothing wrong with posting your own story in that experience. I can see someone getting upset if you share your random thoughts within their stories. Perhaps all along I've misunderstood the concept. But then why would EP have rolled similar stories into one experience, like they did with some of my stories? I don't know, Jake. I don't see this as a problem, but in the meantime if you're going to make your own 'experience' you could call it: I'm Jake, and I have random thoughts, too. +3 nods   |

Quite frankly, regardless of the reason for EPJake's participation in this group, people apparently like to read his stories. Cripes - what's next? Private groups that are members-only?  Feeling sick | Posted Oct 27th, 2009 at 9:07PM I'm standing with everyone else here. It doesn't make sense to me that you can't post your story where ever you feel it was appropriate. Recently I posted a story about Spaghetti squash in a group about playing squash. I did it with good humor and not to step on anyone's toes and felt it was a perfectly acceptable use of the group. Ok, just wanted to put in my two cents. |

I apologize to those that feel like this was not an appropriate place to share my thoughts and share such as I did. I understand that we all have our own opinions. And I think that is what is great about EP in general, everyone is entitled to their opinions... whether or not we agree, well that's for each of us to work out one on one. No bad feelings here people. None what so ever. |
