He Wants To Start Over

I met this guy we fell for eachother right away he told me he loved me he said he wanted to spend forever with me. He would call me when i woke up first thing to say goodmorning and at night to say goodnight. he always said such sweet things to me. Then we had sex and afterward i was upset and i hurt his feelings. I told him i was sorry. but now everythings different, he want to start over and start slow but things do feel the way they use too. im worried they never will. What should i do?
