Yeah...

Okay I'll admit it, I am a bit fiery when I get behind the wheel but I can't stand stupid drivers! I don't do anything dangerous like trying to run people off the road or anything but what comes out of my mouth will probably get me into a world of trouble at some point.
I swear like a trooper and when I'm driving I like to make use of my full vocabulary of expletives whenever an idiot dares to cross my path. I don't know where all the anger comes from, since I'm usually quite a gentle person, but I don't care either since it feels good to get my tension out by mocking other drivers and their lack of both common sense and awareness of others.
I apologise to my passengers in advance though...

"I don't know where all the anger comes from, since I'm usually quite a gentle person." Are you really gentle, or are you stuffing your anger down deep like this culture teaches girls to do? Sorry if that's out of line, but my wife and I work hard to help our teenage daughters push back on that particular bit of societal pressure, and there's a lot of pressure. Our girls will get there - they're slowly but surely learning how to be blunt and direct about what they want and how they're feeling. And it might be wishful thinking, but I think I've noticed a dropoff in the number of teenage tantrums since we started. But for sure they talk to us a lot more, which is huge.
