Every time I close my eyes I see the same face. This disfigured one, with giant black holes where they eyes should be, or maybe they're shadows I don't know. Either way it's always there when I close my eyes, lit up against the black. It used to really scare me when it first appeared. Like a screamer every time I blinked too hard. Now I'm used to it. Sometimes it changes expression though, and that startles me. It will smirk at me, or be angry, etc. I figure it's the demons messing with me. Still annoying.

I'm sorry, Have you sought help?

Nope. It's too embarrassing for me to discuss. I don't want to be seen as crazy because I know what happens to me is weird.

Doctors and therapist are bound by patient confidentiality. They can't tell anyone what you tell them. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. The brain is an organ like your liver or heart. Sometimes it has problems too and that's no reflection on who you are. You're not crazy but please get some help.
