A Single DemonI have been born into a Christian family. My dad is extremely theological. I'm more on the spiritual side. I'v always been able to sort of sense paranormal beings, and have had some weird experiences.
I moved across the country about three years ago, and only a couple of years ago my old best friend came to visit me. She's a hardcore, goody-goody Christian. She spent the night at my house and used my sister's room since she has a bunk bed. I slept on the top bunk, my friend on the bottom.
I fell asleep very quickly that night, which it weird because I normally have a hard time sleeping. I woke up at around 3 o'clock in the morning. I was sleeping on my belly and when I opened my eyes I saw a black figure, its face only about a foot away from mine. I couldn't see a face; no eyes, mouth, nose, or anything. Just a black figure with black smoke emanating from it's "skin".
It didn't move at all, but I knew it was looking at me. I felt like it was carefully observing me. I don't know if there were any more in the room, but it's certainly possible.
For some reason, though, I wasn't scared. i would've expected to be, but I thought "If I just go to sleep, it'll go away." So I pulled up the covers and shut my eyes again.
The next morning, I told my mom. When my sister overheard and got scared, my mother told me to "admit" that it was just a dream. My mom believes its a dream, but I know for a fact that it wasn't. It was too real. But I still don't remember why I wasn't scared.
I don't even know what I felt...
