Climbing Rainbows In The City

Last summer it rained, and rained, and rained but occasionally the rain would stop, the clouds would growl their last rumbles for the time being- a rainbow would happen.

This one day it rained, stormed like something else. I was working at the time but it was finally my lunch break so I took my umbrella and marched off into the rain. I remember walking on the sidewalk when the rain stopped, the sun came out through the cracks of black clouds giving the area a very strange look. Just as I was about to cross the street I saw it... Two rainbows. One towered over the other like the perfect final piece to a mother nature cake. These arches were not misty, weak in any way- no they were strong. Everyone stopped walking, myself included to look at the sight. Some took pictures with their phones. Sadly I left mine at the office in my rush to get food and come back.

They were pretty solid and it almost seemed like they were not going anywhere. They were there to stay but that wasn't the case. One minute they were there, strong and solid in pigment the next after coming out from grabbing a coffee they were gone.
