First Treatment Of K Laser In Conjunction With Neuropathy Support Formula

I start ed K Laser Therapy today on both my feet. Per my previous posts I am still taking the Lyrica and tylennol and oxycodine (at night to try and get me to sleep).

I had read on the internet that K Laser treatment can help "cure" damaged nerves if caught early! Again I am trying to be pro-active in my treatment because I will not accept that the Doctors can only treat the symptoms!

K Laser Treatment uses red and near-infrared light wavelengths to improve healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. Apparently, .the laser energy is supposed to increase circulation, draw water, oxygen and nutrients to the damaged area and nerves to create an optimal healing environment

The laser is supposed to interact with tissues at the cellular level and metabolic activity increases within the cells, improving transportation of nutrients across the cell membrane to help in the repair process.

Again, I only had one treatment that lasted about a half hour. The sensation was a warm feeling in both my feet and toes as the tech stroked my feet with the device. It actually felt good!

Immediately after the first treatment I seemed to experience some relief. Some of the numbness feeling on the bottoms of my feet and the tops seemed to feel somewhat better and my pins and needles in my right foot felt better. These effects continued when I put my shoes back on and it was the best my feet felt in months. This lasted for at least 4 or 5 hours, then I started getting the numbness and pins and needles back....OH...the crushing/compression feeling on my feet and toes diminished too!!

I am going back for another treatment tomorrow and on Saturday. I signed up for 20 treatments which costs $500...I will do it 3 or 4 times a week to see if I can beat this thing!!!

As I stated, I continue to use the Nerve Repair Optimizer R-Alpha Lipoic Acid and the Neuropathy Support Formula. Again it seems to be working on me! I hope for those of you that may be using it also is getting similar results. I take the Support formula 3x's per day not the recommended 2 x's and Nerve Repair Optimizer 2 x's per day.

Pain has decreased with the supplements again from an original 15 on a scale of 1-10 to about a 6 (bearable but still drives you nuts) and I hope the K Laser treatment takes me to the finish line....I continue to have numbness/pins and needles, as described above to a lesser degree, and the cutting/razor pain has decreased in frequency. Compression and hot flashes continue to the lesser 5-6 pain rating degree from the original 10. The cold flashes are alot less frequent. (Something Must be Going on in a Positive Way).

If anyone has comment or is doing something proactive too, please tell me your results! If your doing some of the things I am trying, please share your experience. Im trying!

We can beat this if we work together and help each other find a way to treat the cause and NOT Just the Symptoms!!

God Bless and Good Luck,

Hi Alan;
If you are still around I was wondering how the laser treatments worked and how long they lasted? I am in the process of going to get laser treatment. I have small fiber neuropathy idiopathic. Thanks so much

Hi, I saw that you had inquired about cold laser therapy treatment for neuropathy. I have ideopathic SFN and have tried everything possible to help relieve the constant pain, crushing, burning cutting, stabbing and numbing sensations. The laser treatment helps me experience some temporary relief for about 2 hours after treatment. I actually bought a cold laser device from Israel called B-Cure. However, I have found that a Tens Unit (Electro-Stimulation) with the elecrtic pads on my feet gives me better relief for a longer time and in a more comprehensive way. I really think the Neorapathy Support Formula that I got on the internet helped a lot, It has Alpha Lipoic Acid and vitamin B etc....I also take Magnesium and B-12. I HAVE RECENTLY STARTED TAKING Lyrica and this time around it seems to be working (if I dont take it with neurotin) This has actually relieved the pain I was having on the bottom of my feet (cutting, slicing, stabbing pain with a feeling of walking on rocks and glass. So I use all these things together and it seems to be helping least I get some moments of relief, but Im not cured "YET"!! I wish you all the best and hope you find some relief. God Bless and Happy Easter!

Sorry that I haven't posted for awhile. Since my last post I have undergone approximately 40 K- Laser treatments. I have feeling bilaterally in the two smaller toes (4th and 5th pinky toes) of my feet. Bottom of my feet from the arch back to heel is now normal without pain or numbness. Pain levels has also decreased, although this may be due to a combination of taking Neuropathy Support Formula (contains B vitamines D vitamin and Alpha Lipoic Acid with other natural ingredients.) In all I am also taking Alpha Lipoic Acid two 600 mg 2 times per day (found at GNC stores). Total Alpha Lipoic Acid taken per day is 1500 mg. I am also taking 25 MG Nortriptyline HCL 1 x per day.

Results show much improvement over initial Extreme Pain that was off the charts of a 15 on a 1-10 scale! I believe that the Alpha Lipoic Acid has helped a lot and the Neuropathy Support Formula Helped a lot as well.

Currently I experience between pain on a scale of 5 to 7 daily. I have burning and numbness as well with needles but, it is much better than the unbearable levels of prior pain. I experience less frequent razor slicing pain in my feet, which at one time occurred about 6 hours per day, NOW only about 30 minutes per day.

I suggest you give the Alpha Lipoic Acid a chance, I haven't found any bad side effects unless your allergic. It is said to be beneficial in nerve regeneration and is a natural antioxidant found in spinach, broccoli, etc. Found to be helpful for nerve disorders, heart disease, memory, liver and eyes along with beneficial effect upon neuropathy.

All I can say is that the above has helped in my serious situation. I wish all of you the best.
