Honey, I have social anxiety. The only way I could overcome it was medication. Maybe you should seek some council ing.

Medication isn't the answer, medication doesn't make you more comfortable in your own skin. Medication doesn't make you stop wondering what everyone is thinking. Medication doesn't make your fears go away. Medication mellows you out, but it doesn't "fix you" counseling doesn't either. Learn to love yourself how you are. Surround yourself with people who love you how you are. Social anxiety, or any anxiety is a state of mind. I'm still figuring things out myself, but in my opinion the medication isn't the answer. Mood altering medications should be avoided at all costs.

So wht is it like?

You're not alone on this one, bud. I can't even remember a time where social anxiety didn't affect me. I've learned to accept it, I'm happier at home alone anyways.

You are definitely not alone, I used to go through what you go through and sometimes I still do but I can safely say that I have overcome. If I can overcome than so can you, it possible. Visit my page if you can so you can find out where I come from. Also feel free to message me if you need someone to help. Its possible and you can do this.

I have never liked being around a lot of people. You are not alone, many people feel the same way as you do.

Thank you! People, who don't feel the same I do, just easily say that be positive. I just can't. My automatic negative thoughts envade my mind, but I feel somehow relieved knowing that I'm not alone struggling from this. :)
