Have You Ever Noticed ....

When others are set in their ways, they're obstinate, but you are firm and resolved.

When your neighbor doesn't like your friend, she's prejudiced, but when you don't like her friend, you are a good judge of human nature.

When she tries to treat someone especially well, she is buttering up the person, but when you do so, you are being thoughtful.

When she takes time to do things well, she's lazy, but when you do so, you are meticulous.

When she spends a lot, she is spendthrift, but when you overdo, you're generous.

When she picks flaws in things, she is critical,, but when you do you are perceptive.

When she is ill-mannered, you call her weak, but when you are, you are gracious.

When she dresses well, she is extravagant, but when you are, you are tastefully in style.

When she says what she thinks, she is spiteful, but when you do, you are being honest.

When she takes great risks, she is foolhardy, but when you do, you are brave.

Faults are thick where love is thin.

do you remember who wrote this piece that you copied down? and it's all true, and we've been guilty of this sort of thinking, whether we like to admit it or not.

My mum prefers to see the glass half full and to give the benefit of doubt, so I grew up putting myself in someone else's shoes.<br />

An open mind costs nothing.
