1 Person Can Change Your World

Other than my parents, most people do not believe in me. I don't know why and really it doesn't matter. What matters is that someone gave me a chance. Someone gave me a chance to show what I was really capable of, that I could achieve greatness. No I didn't win the Nobel prize, I don't have a Million dollars for a brilliant invention, and no I'm not in the news (yet). But this one person, has given me so much more hope for the future. He was my supervisor at school; he never doubted my abilities, never doubted how hard I work, and believed that I could pull through and succeed. I am so lucky to have met someone who genuinely cares about their students to encourage them to reach their full potential.

Even though I have been screwed over by many people in my life, I now have hope that there are good people out there. There are professors who have their careers for the right reasons. I feel like I actually have a chance to achieve my goals. Him believing in me gave me confidence that I wasn't fighting a losing battle. He made me believe in my dreams again. 1 person can make a difference
