I Am Happy

I am probably the happiest person I know. In recent months, a few things have gone badly and it's been a little hard at times. The hardest times have been trying to fall asleep and random times, when I'm in groups of people, when out of the blue it hits me and part of me wants to cry. But something happened - I'm not sure what, exactly, but something incredible happened and I realized just how much I love my life.
I love my friends, especially the ones I've been bonding with lately. And my hometown, too! It's beautiful, especially at this time of year, and I really feel at home here. I've been having crazy wild nights a lot lately, and I've been partying a lot, but I've also been working, volunteering, learning, and running every day. I'm healthy and in shape, and I'm busy and having fun.
Recently I realized the strangest thing: there are people that want to be with me. It's weird saying it, but there are guys out there that find me attractive and want to date me! In the past month or so I've been kissed by eight different guys, and I've been asked out by another. It's the strangest thing, but I've been told more than once that I'm attractive, and it's starting to sink in that I have options! I'm not necessarily interested in any of these guys, but it's refreshing and uplifting to see myself in a position where I know no matter what happens in my love life, I'll be excited about it.
It's strange not knowing what in particular has made me so happy, but I like it that way. I like loving my life and being excited about each and every day for no particular reason, because what that really means is that I'm excited about my life for every possible reason!

Rock and roll dude. Good story. I love hearing that people are happy. Especially people that are in awe of how happy they are, because I am in awe of how awesome it is to be happy. Rock and roll. Stay happy buddy! Yeah!

This is great. It seems to me that the "law of attraction" is at work here. What we focus on we create more of. Since you are in a positive place, your focus on that is attracting more of it into your life. That's why when we are feeling low/negative it's good to remember to focus more on what we want rather than what we don't want, so that we attract more of the things we feel are "good" for us.
Keep it up! There's no limit to happiness!!
Something came to me some years ago - this thought: "Happiness is all in the mind." I think it might be true. One can choose to be happy or not. There are so many choices and options out there especially if you are still young, that can capture your interest. As for me, I am decades older, and retired, but have never been happier. There seems to be no end of things I want to do, never enough time to do them, but far better that, than to have too much time and not enough to do.
When I was younger, I never quite got the idea of reinventing myself, but it is true. You can reinvent yourself - maybe it's like this: get to know yourself, the things you're good at, the things you LIKE, and you might just hit the jackpot!
Anyway, take care, and enjoy!

Congratulations! Positive thinking is the source of your happiness. For nurturing your great mind, I believe that you do not forget your incessant contribution to the new culture of learning and development.
