Frito's Story About Abuse

Frito's story really touched me about abuse. It is so sad to know that so many of us are too afraid to "get involved" when we see abuse-and Im not talking discipline here folks. I mean out right abuse! Too many people get mad and want to "get even" so they call CPS on a neighbor....thats FLAT OUT WRONG! Do you have any idea what you are putting a family through? Then the same people refuse to make that call when there really is ABUSE occuring! Me? Im the one the abusers DONT want to meet. I know this may sound stupid to many BUT there have been many times where I have seen mothers beating and yes I said beating the crap out of little little kids...I almost went to jail one day years ago in Kmart where I had to listen to an out of cotrol mom screaming at the top of her ungs through out a store and when I finally found her she was taking all her anger out on a 12 month old BABY!!! The grandmother allowed her to go into a bathroom and we all had to hear this poor child being slapped too many timesto count! Baby screaming at the top of her lungs. I had to grab my kids up and call security and then I went to the grand mother, tld her the police were comming. When the baby was brought out her little legs were red all over and and the mother turned her attention to me. I calmly had my children step away from harms way and told that lunatic to beat me like he just did her child! I am an adult and can defend myself! She said I have "no idea" what this 12 month old puts HER through!!! I clearly informed her I was a mother of 7 kids and there is NOTHING a 12 month old can possibly do to receive the harm inflicted upon her little body. The woman was arrested and who nows what happened from there. Even to this day my heart breaks for that baby and all the kids that have to suffer at the hands of an out of control unstable parent.
