A Very Difficult Experience

6 years ago I had extreme pain in my left arm and had a a physician examine the arm. it was discovered that neck osteophytosis was responsible for the symptoms. The doctor recommended that I put on a neck collar for 3 months. Meanwhile I took two types of drugs: a pain killer and a medicine for controling muscle spasm. The symptoms disappeared for almost 6 years. After that pain has been felt in the arms, shoulders and legs. Wearing the neck collay alleviates the pain. I don't know what to do to stop the unbearable pains.

So much agree with drrcub1000 in relation to the collar...should only be worn for as short a time as poss to allow muscle, ligaments or tendons to repair..
Also in the comment about pain killing drugs
1 They hide the pain ...Pain is a defense mechanism in the body..hide it and you can push the cause to a greater extent
2 painkillers..No matter how GENTLE are a KILLER on your Stomach...Forget the hype all Pharm cos know this.
Chiro Or Physio ??....Try Physio First....Then OK!

Good Luck My Friend Know The Pain 2 well

well you never wear a collar, that will weaken the muscles.
drugs cover up the symptoms. The reason you have this is
lack of motion within the joints..go to a chiropractor
