Elementary School

In elementary school I was pulled out of class one day to go take an IQ test. I had no idea what it was about nor what I was doing.  I know it was really easy though, haha.

My mom was given the results and has only told me twice though I can never remember.  I got 113 on an online test once and told my mom it didn't sound right.  All she said was "No, it's higher than that".

After I was given that test in elementary school they put me in a program called Excel. It was a lot of fun.  A few other kids were in there.  We got out of a certain class and went to our own little room beside the cafeteria and did activities. Mostly I remember playing games though.
Excel continued through middle school.  I was in the program at the one other school I attended during these years and liked that program more, it seemed like we did more.  In middle school all we really did was watch movies and do worksheets about the movies.
But it was a fun group and we had a lot of fun together.

I recall scoring 140 or so on an elementary IQ test, but our lovely Texas schools had no such excel program, plus I was difficult to teach because I, unfortunately still to this day, tend to only focus on what interests me.

We all took IQ tests as a class. Mine was [ahem] well over 113. FYI think of the reverse - an IQ 13 points less than the 100 norm makes for an individual most would easily see as challenged somewhat at 87. "Morons" have IQs around 51 - 70, even lower, but having a designation.
