I Have Tattoos
One day when I was in college , I went home and my parents handed me a bumper sticker that said "We tattooed your mom" with the logo of a local shop. She got this massive tribal tattoo on the small of her back with her initials and dads initials, even though you can't actually read them.
I figured then, that it was fair game.
My first tat was just my own initials (BS) on my lower back
The next two were a sort-of matching pair of monkies, one of each shoulder blade. One is dressed like a devil, the other is an angel. I had them designed specifically for me.
The last one is in the center of my back and is a big maltese cross with tribal flames shooting out the side, and in the cross a black widow is weaving her web. It is something I promised my students I would get for them (its the symbol for our Chopper club at school and the main sponsor for the club)
I will never regret any of them, because they all mean something very personal to me.
The funny thing is that I have had a giggling fit, then fallen asleep during every single session. They tease me at the shop because I am the only customer they have that just takes a nap.
I haven't decided what my next one will be, although, i know it has to go on my back because I cannot have them showing for work
as it is several of the kids have already seen the pitchfork sticking up above the collar of my shirt, which is a no-no
my best friend wants me to get one that matches his (on his left foot) that says "Place tag here" and points to his toe. Odd duck he is. i won't let anyone near my feet tho, so thats a no go
