Ugh...clutter...

Ugh...two years my 11 year-old son and I have lived in this two-bedroom apartment. Before moving in I had sorted papers, thrown  things out, organized, and put everything unneeded in bins. Now, my living room closet is half full of junk, my linen closet is in disarray, my bedroom closet is piled high with clothes that no longer fit me and mattress pads that go unused, and dust lingers everywhere...and I can never find tape, scissors, flashlights, screwdrivers, important photographs, nail clippers and other assorted things. The medicine cabinet in my bathroom goes unused because it to needs to be cleaned. And I can never seem to find the time to scrub my kitchen sink. I always say, "If only someone was here to help me," but I'm a single mother, and my son only mildly assists, so I'm overwhelmed and discouraged. I try to keep as much of the clutter out of sight as possible, but that certainly isn't a solution. What I wouldn't give to be wealthy and be able to hire a personal organizer. Alas, some days I just want to take a big garbage bag and throw most everything away...thanks for listening...
