I Have Trouble Making New Friends

Not My Friends

  I don't really have many friends it just looks like I do. I make one friend and then that persons friends act like my friend but they are not really. When I was longer my brother had friends and since I was with my brother I had friends but to them I was alway just my brothers sister. Now I have Melissa, Melissa has friends and now everyone knows me as Melissa's friend. I want to make my own friends I want friends who know me as me and not as their friends friend.

    I understand and sometimes people don't appreciate what they have in front of them, but I find if you let yourself fall into the background, then you never make an identity for yourself. I have trouble with that and I really want to change it, but some days I can't take it. Hopefully you don't think you're alone.
