Fools Rush In.

For a long time, I had a complex about hurting people I cared about, although this didn't seem to extend to my family, oddly enough. As a result, I paid a lot of attention to and diligently endeavoured to become the sort of person who *didn't* hurt nor upset the people I cared for.

And when I found someone that I cared profoundly and intensely for, the last thing I ever wanted to do was cause them upset.

But as it turned out, I could not have made a more gross overestimation of my own benigness. Time and again, because of good intentions, I inadvertently caused upset and hurt, over and over.

Sometimes we become the things we try hardest to avoid, and the cost can be losing what we treasure most.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

im very sorry to hear that. if i may offer an analogy...

One time when i was very young I was playing with a girl I had a crush on. I picked up a stick and playfully threw it at her. She was very far away and I didnt think I could throw that far nor was i trying to hit her at all. I even tried to throw it away from hit the head.
Often when you focus on doing one thing the opposite happens even without trying.
apologize, and be more loose!

**HUGS** We all hurt people sometimes, and you know what, it's ok!! We're not all perfect, we're human, and being human means getting it wrong sometimes........ doesn't make us bad people, especially when we learn from these things. You had good intentions, I hope that your experience hasn't made you stop caring about not hurting people.... *HUGE HUGS*

Wise man says, it is never too late to say you are sorry-------

I can't imagine how you could hurt someone by being good. The only instance I can think of is being too truthful or straightforward. I have found that a person allows themselves to be hurt just as much as a person hurts those he cares about. Through the situations we put ourselves in, the people we choose to associate with... we all have choices in these matters. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. Nevertheless, I hope that you are able to free yourself of this pain soon. It's no fun to beat yourself up :-
