I've had vertigo for several years, but most recently it has been steady for about 4 months.  I'm just looking to hear any other experiences and how they cope.  It seems worse after i haver physical therapy.  I can't sleep because my eyes can't stand still.  I'm not sure it is helping.  Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this?

I have no clue I just found out I had it....I was dizzy for like 3 days and was afraid it was something serious....I don't know much about it as it was only my second attack, my first attack caused me to bomb a physics test as the room was spinning....Do you know how to prevent it? what causes it, I know its caused by the crystrals in the semicircular cannal in the inner ear (I learned it in school) but why do the attacks somethimes occur why isnt it like that all the time, just wondering.....<br />
I found that if I lay on my side with like two pillows under my head that works for me, but its only my left side i cant switch (go figure) and my doctor put me on motion sickness pills so I semifunctional, but this is still new to me so I dont think Im much help, Im just glad to know Im not alone :)
