yes, they feel very real because of the littlest detail in the settings.

remembering them is often inspiration for me, so I am lucky that way...

do you remember having them, though, even if you don't remember the specifics?

Wow, this is fascinating for me! I obviously dream according to experts, but I never remember them! I'm kinda envious! X@

I wish I could remember as vividly as they are when I am having them. Sometimes it lingers...the feeling of them.

Hmmm...I wonder if it has to do with the pending season change from the dormancy of winter to the renewal of spring...

I've had these all-senses-crackling dreams as well.

I've often forgotten then shortly after waking, though.

They seem to increase in frequency and sensual vividness around this time of year for me -- February/March.

Every now and again...if not for the absolute spontaneity of my children...I'd prefer to live in my vivid dream life.

yes, I think that is a large part of what drives them, even if they are shrouded in symbolism...

It's kind of exciting not knowing where we will go when we sleep. Some people say they never recall their dreams but I always do and they are usually a relection of what if going on in my life and my more buried feelings.

lucid dreaming is when you know that you are dreaming and can possibly manipulate what happens in your dream :o)

I do have a pretty good memory. I wonder, too, if it is connected to having good imagination and creativity.

Yes, possibly, to the lucid dream. Is it when you have a dream in a dream, or realize in the dream that what you are experiencing is a dream?

Sometimes they are scary... like the one with the 15 tornados all coming at me from different directions at the same time... :S

I have vivid dreams, but yours are much more pleasant. Mine are very real, and not always very nice. :(
