Weird Driving Dream: Driving From The Passenger Seat.

I had a strange dream last night. I was driving at night. The steering wheel and the dashboard controls were all in the normal positions, but my father was in the driver's seat. He was not trying to drive or interfere with me driving. In my fuzzy dream logic, I did not find this situation nonsensical, though I found it an inconvenience and a nuisance. I was crammed between my dad and the middle armrest/cupholder, but this was uncomfortable, so I moved  all the way over into the front passenger seat I was leaning over to reach the steering wheel, don't ask me how I stretched my leg far enough to reach the pedals, that's just dream physics for you. I suddenly moved out of a lit area and into darkness, though the inside of the car was still lit. I asked dad to turn the headlights on because I couldn't reach the controls, but he argued with me about it, arguing that "I could see before".  Afraid I would wreck, I stretched my leg over and applied the brake. I finally got him to turn on the headlights, but they were really dim, and I couldn't see where I was going anyway because of the position I was in stretching my leg over to the brake. Then the dream ended before anything else could happen, though I didn't wake up immediately. Since I normally only remember dreams I awaken from, I don't know why I remembered this one.

I personally don't think that my subconscious mind was trying to send me a message, I just think this is a funny weird dream, like the one my brother told me about when he was little involving a pirate and a praying mantis that were going to eat him at the north pole. It's silly to try to find meaning where there is none, but I felt that this was worth sharing.

And in case you were wondering, crazy dream analyzers, no, I do not feel like my dad is trying to control my life. Besides, in the dream, he was not purposely interfering, he was just sitting as he usually does when I drive. Except, this time it was in the seat behind the steering wheel and not the front passenger position.
