I Have Worn Lipstick
My mother taught me very well while I was growing into the woman I am today. From that first day that she started to feminize me on my eighth birthday, she had two rules that she stood firm on. One was whenever she had dressed me up, which was at least once a week and more as I got older, I always had to keep my high heels on until my dress was taken off of me. That meant many times from morning until my bedtime.
The second rule was that my make up and especially my lipstick always had to be kept looking fresh. When I was in school during the school year I would come home and mother would take me in her bedroom and do a light makeup job on me. Most evenings after supper she wouldn't bother to reapply my lipstick. However, on weekends and vacation times she would chase me down if she had to making sure my makeup and lipstick was fresh and looked good. In the summertime, my makeup was applied each and every morning before going out to play. If I went out of the house without having my makeup applied, I had to stay indoors until the next day, and still have my makeup applied (and most times be put in a dress that day). Mother gave me four times during the day that I had to stop what I was doing and go see her so she could reapply my lipstick and check my other makeup. If I didn't see her at certain times of the day, or if I intentionally wiped my lipstick off, there were unpleasant consequences.
Her strict rules paid off though. Today I hardly ever go out of my apartment without wearing any makeup. My nails are always kept polished. And, I wear lipstick even when I'm not going anywhere!
The high heels, that's another story!
