I Have Writers Block

About My New Story...

I am writing a 6 part story. There are five different people with five different stories......and each one of them has a mind disorder! Then they all come together and meet and in the sixth story they are all in it in an omnipotent view. Rose has depression, Star has multiple personality disorder, Gabriel is completely unfeeling (not really a mind disorder), Adrian is schizophrenic, and Melinda has short-term memory loss. Here's something else about each one of them......Rose is suicidal, Star is seductive and wants to take over the world, Gabriel is honost no matter what, Adrian is gay and is in love with the boy that he sees that isn't real, and Melinda wants to become a psychologist (that's kind of ironic). Anyways, I have part of Rose's, Star's, Adrian's, and Gabriel's stories written, but at the moment, I am at a total loss.

    That actually sounds like a really interesting 'series'. I'd love to help you with it if you like. Oh, and are you familiar with www.fictionpress.com? It's a site I use to post original works on, and is actually really useful for feedback etc.



    Oh, and another thing. There IS a certain disorder that would be considered your 'unfeeling' one, although if you could be more specific about what 'disorder' you're trying to communicate I'd be happy to help.



    The name evades me right now, but it's basically a desensitisised state of mind; you feel no fear (this is very common of sufferers), guilt, happiness, or any emotional turmoil. The problem a lot of people have with (I'll insert the name once I remember what it's called LOL) is that they may find themselves 'chasing' the feeling. Sort of like a drug addict chasing the high, but they're almost desperate to feel something, anything, because as humans we identify with emotions.



    I'm really sorry I can't remember the name, but I hope that helps you in some way, shape or form.
