I Did.

I wrote the letter over two years ago. Sealed it up in an envelope and hid it in the back of my closet.

Probably my biggest fear over this time period was that if I died in a car accident or something, then someone would eventually find and read it. One more reason to wear my seat belt.

A week ago I burned it. Now my secrets are mine again.

I wouldnt like to be burned at the stake but I am scared when I am at the gates of heaven (assuming I go there) and my life and secrets have to be accounted for. As God is a loving God I only hope I can get in without too much scrutiny. He knows my secrets. At least no one on earth or EP know. Which is a good thing.Standing in line at the gates of Heaven I hope I dont see anyone I know who may let slip something I may have said about myself years ago.
I'd be burned at the stake if people could see my thoughts... I like this story. I've done the same thing.

I believe we all have some secrets, WhatNot.
When your entire life is based on secrets, that's no good.
But I have certain things that belong just to me. Nobody has to spill all their guts.

secrets are something arent they?

I did the exact same thing, except I never got around to burning the letter. I did move house though, and I can only hope no one found it and read it.

Secrets can be good things sometimes.

I remember you speaking of this. Well done... I'm proud of you.
