Dare to Go Bare?

Ahhhh.  Vancouver, BC's infamous nude beach.  So conveniently accessible.  Know why I'm not interested in going?  No, I don't either.  It just isn't on my priorities list.

Perhaps I should reconsider.  I'm not fit any more, but I'm not that bad, either.  I'm a single, 40-year-old fella.  And it's summer.  Why shouldn't I want to go?  (This is a rhetorical question -- you don't have to answer).

You know what's going to happen?  Now that I've created the category, even went to the trouble of finding an icon for it, and made its debut entry, the seed will probably germinate in my head, and before the month's up I'll have spent a day baring it all, down below UBC campus (where else would you expect a nude beach to be so popular?  Never mind -- another rhetorical question).  I'm not asking anyone to look, you'll be pleased to know.  I'm just saying what will probably take place.  Why do we do this to ourselves?  Right, yet another rhetorical question.

I've lived here all my life....never gone....just not my thing....maybe there's just some things (people)...that should stay under wraps ya know lol

Despite my prediction I haven't gone myself. Been too busy and, whereas going to Wreck Beach used to be low on my priority list, now it's simply fallen off. Yeah, I think I'll just keep that to myself for now. Nice to meet another Vancouverite.

Haha....this is a genuinely funny posting...I like it...are you a writer?

Used to be. The last time I was published was ten years ago, and that was just a local newspaper article. Just about all the writing I do now is on this web-site.

Well...the only question left, is, 'Did you go?'

Hee hee. I'll get sunburn on my butt, causing me to flinch every time I sit down for the next week.

It's just a little stream-of-consciousness writing, and nothing against Wreck Beach or the people who go there. All you need to know about my entry is written there.
