I Haven't Lost My Virginity
Back when I was 16, I heard a story that basiclly changed me from a horny typical teenager, to controlling myself and realizing the value of virginity. Further, I am proud of being a virgin in this rampart society of sexualism.
16, at in health class. This guy comes in to give us a speech, he is missing both his legs, and maybe an arm or something, now being from a small town, it was already pretty striking. He and his wife were married, and both virgins, having saved themselves for their special partner. He went to vietnam, and hit a landmine, disfiguring himself. In the hospital, his wife comes to visit him,
"Honey, I know if you want to leave me, I completely understand."
"I didn't marry you for your looks, if I did, I would of left you a long time ago."
Needless to say, at that impressionable age, hearing something totally counter to 'LOOKS LOOKS LOOKS!' and loving someone so much rocked my world. To this day, I believe sex is special gift to that one person, and it should not be cheapened like it is.
