Need Money To Visit Dying Father

When I was 5 years old my father left us. I have spent most of my adult life looking for him. I received a phone call last week that he was looking for me. A flood of emotion came over me. Then I heard the words he has had a massive heart attack and is in a hospice facility to spend his last days. I live in Ca and the facility is in Arizona. Right away my wife and I went to work trying to find a way to get there. We have small children and little to no funds. Driving is going to be the cheapest way. I can drive the twelve hours and sleep in the car, bring all my own food and drinks. So all I need is gas money. Its about $300 round trip. If anyone knows of any way to help I would greatly appreciate it. I just want to see him and say goodbye.
