I'm Going to Homeschool

I have decided to homeschool my son starting this fall.  I am so sick of the public school drama: teachers on power-trips, wasted school days, tons of homework, indoctrination, and the list goes on....

I would love advice from those already educating their children.

don't listen to miles2662 - we are all qualified as their parents to teach them and if you are a Christian then you know that God requires us to teach them... obviously he would properly equip us to do so.. it is an amazing and precious experience, but there is much hard work involved and days you will question your decision.. but the work involved and lack of personal time is well well worth it.. we are in our 3rd year of homeschool and my 10yo is working two grade levels ahead on her reading and doing better in all her subjects.. my 4yo boys should be in prek but they are on a kindergarden level.. I couldn't imagine giving up the precious chance to watch them grown and learn first hand :-) feel free to message me if you have any questions :-)

Forget it!!! Unless, of course, you are fully qualified to teach.

its a great thing internet is invented, just look at home schooling in google and they have tons of knowledge on how to do it. Public school hates this type of competition. Specially since the last 5 or so winners from the spelling Bee were home schooled.
