Surviving Leukemia

I had just turned twenty and was diagnosed with acute biphenotypic leukemia,( acute myelogenous and acute lymphocytic leukemia combined in one cell). I had less then seven percent chance to survive the bone marrow transplant from an unrelated donor. I battled for over a year and spent 188 days as an impatient in Stanford Un Hospital in 1990 alone.  I am alive and well.
