Why They Think It's Great

It's the little things that annoy. The chipping away at rules to make sport more entertaining.
The making stadiums all seated when I'm thinking, I don't want to stand and holler. Where I want to shout and swear at the ref, the players at anybody who I deem deserves it.
Sport is about controlled aggression. It's about men ( mainly) learning team work and the ethic of taking orders. Of pent up energies being released.
But now?
Sport is entertainment. It's about changing the rules to make it more palatable to the masses.
The more they change the rules. The more they chase away the true fans for the corporate dollar, for family entertainment, the more likely, in the end, that sports will die.
