Men Are a Mystery!

I don't get them either. And I'm one of them! At least biologically speaking. Lately it's becoming increasingly obvious that there's more to it than just having an X chromosome and a Y chromosome. But really! The whole modern masculinity thing is just a big, messy source of confusion. No more so than the big, confusing mess of what modern womanhood is about though, I imagine.

Still, the difficulty a lot of males have with trying to be men should not be underestimated. To top it off, there's not a lot of guidance out there, and there's a lot of confusing cross chatter from the other side of the gender fence!

I don't get men either. Sometimes utterly unfathomable, most times. For me always conflicting signals and superficial-itis (know it's not a word but it says what i'm feeling about them).
Like journeyfulloflaughter, i'm still learning who i am.

I totally agree and I have the male plumbing and I don't get men either, not that I want to however, I find women infinitely more sophisticated, charming and a joy to spend time with.

that's a good point. none of the categories that i fit into go very far toward describing who i actually am as a person.

this is how i feel everytime i see the group "i want to know what women want". i'm a woman and i don't even know what i want, much less what the entire gender wants!

Oh no, you are stating to get on to us and our secret clubs.
I have said too much. I might lose my secret man ring now. :/
What you are talking about is what makes it fun. It would be boring if we were all alike. :)

And statistically a man is 4 times less likely (than a woman) to seek advice. So even if you are confused you tend not to clarify it.

that's putting it mildly! Very ******* confusing....
