I Am Bipolar...

Bipolar runs in my family. Some admit to it and get help, while others laugh at the ones who seek help.
I am also on medication, I am stable. Things just take so much work and I really have come so far...
But I still have more work to do.
Lately I've started yoga and like it. It is hard to change all at once. I am a jumpy person and never used to think things through. Now I think about the consequences. And I am no longer a cool person, but I am just a parent who embarrasses my daughter with my music, being to serious to realize it was a joke, and thinking of appointments.
I do pretty good for being bipolar.

I have Bipolar too. And moodiness runs in my family big time.

Do you tell people you know about your condition?
I have been hiding and denying my bipolar illness for 20 years but I am going to start being open about it. I just recently realized with the help of my boyfriend that I am not ashamed of it and there's no reason to hide it.
I was just wondering how you handle that aspect...
