We, The People

     New developments across the country are bringing the people to the table. We must stand up, we must stay informed, we must take back our country from this overlord of Federal mandates. Commerce makes no sense when it only benefits the few. Freedom of speech has no legitimacy if we do not speak! Our rights are INALIENABLE. Our states were formed within the structure of "United" because we needed to have common ground. Each state is a place unto itself, and has governed itself, since each state's formation, with local representation. In recent years even this local representation has been taken over by those who would be bought, and sold, to change our country into an oligarchic totalitarian state. We must utilize the written word and the laws thatt govern us to remove this blackhead that has formed on our Federal government's face.

     Our Constitution stands alone in the world as the only document that gives these rights to a nation's natural born, we must defend it with our lives if we expect it to stand again as the light of freedom for the world to emulate. Those words were not written lightly, after much discourse and many lives lost to escape the tyranny which drove us to it, we must defend it now, as they did in the past, for if we do not, we have no future.

     I have an abiding faith in my ancestor's hard work, and their dedication to these principles of freedom. The men who would destroy this document use these freedoms to take what little we have left from us, while taking all for themselves. We have been a nation of fighters, a nation of principled men and women who gave their all to create what it is today. I do not mean bankers and real estate moguls, I mean people who worked in the fields, who built the machines, who offered their time to represent us, people who made America what it was, up until the 1960's when this murderous gang of thieves came to the forefront and killed all of our leaders.

     I remember that in the seventh grade, in 1972, our history teacher had us memorize the Preamble to the Constitution. In a class of about 30 students, we worked on it line for line for weeks. I have never forgotten the days when each and every one of us had to get up in front of the class and recite it alone. Then, at the end of that week, when we were all finished, we said it all together. Our voices, sure and true, said those words with the full meaning and understanding of what they meant to us as American citizens.

     Now, to the main point of my post here, that all is not lost, yet. We have had enough of this, and we, the people, are beginning to do more and more to fight against the takeover of our country. We will not go into this dark age without attempting to retain the light of those words written so long ago by the men who would free us from tyranny. As of late, those words have been shanghaied by the overlords, to change their meaning, to instill disquiet about what they really meant and mean to us now. When we see them using quotes of Thomas Jefferson, or belittling the words we use to uphold our freedom, we know they are not righteous in doing so. A return to the original meanings and impetus for those words is sorely needed.

     This leads me to the much maligned "Tenth Amendment' movement across our country, in which individual states have risen up and reratifyed their stance in the unification, upholding the laws that make each individual state a government unto its own, above the Federal government that would now assume all rights and privileges, leaving us none.

     I will leave you with a link to the main body of this movement, and if you are aware, and fully charged to help our country remain free from tyranny, you will go there, and read of this movement, and support it.

"The way chosen by the United States was plainly marked by a few clear precepts, which govern its conduct in world affairs.<br />
<br />
First: No people on earth can be held, as a people, to be enemy, for all humanity shares the common hunger for peace and fellowship and justice.<br />
<br />
Second: No nation’s security and well-being can be lastingly achieved in isolation but only ineffective cooperation with fellow-nations.<br />
<br />
Third: Any nation’s right to form of government and an economic system of its own choosing is inalienable.<br />
<br />
Fourth: Any nation’s attempt to dictate to other nations their form of government is indefensible.<br />
<br />
And fifth: A nation’s hope of lasting peace cannot be firmly based upon any race in armaments but rather upon just relations and honest understanding with all other nations.<br />
<br />
In the light of these principles the citizens of the United States defined the way they proposed to follow, through the aftermath of war, toward true peace."<br />

"what point are you making here, and for whom? sorry!"<br />
<br />
How do you think that made ME feel? Certainly not all 'glowy'!<br />
<br />
I erased what I originally wrote back to you.<br />
If you don't understand the subject, why comment derogatorily?

AlternateSource, thank you for attempting to clear up IT's misunderstanding or non-understanding of the point!

Eight paragraphs and you missed the point?<br />
Perhaps you could follow the link and see what the point is...<br />
But, you'll have to read that text too...<br />
<br />
Power hungry people are stealing the <br />
Federal Government from America <br />
and are using its weight <br />
to take over the world.<br />
This is the point.<br />
Every one who sits at home <br />
and allows this to occur is to blame for the loss.<br />
<br />
The Middle East is not our issue. <br />
Europe is not our concern. <br />
Africa is not ours to claim.<br />
The United States of American must tend to <br />
it's own needs, now...<br />
<br />
If you are from another country, <br />
then you are reading the wrong stories,<br />
If you don't think America has problems, <br />
then you are not paying attention.<br />
<br />
I suppose you have plenty of responses for this, <br />
responses that have already been broadcast on TV,<br />
Let them flow...
