My boyfriend and i have been together for almost 6 months his parents know nothing of me, he doesnt want the people he works with to find out and i feel like im a hidden secret or something. Like he is embarrassed to be seen with me. Sad part is we live together and what put the creme on the top was i took him to work today and there was only 1 co worker outside i asked him for a kiss and he said wait a second and walked away from the car. My parents and friends know about him. It sucks. Im black and he is white. Im just like if you love me why not show the whole world.

    NO absolutely not. This guy is not worth your time. If he is ashamed of you now, that means he is too scared to live up to his choices. Honey, you don't want to be in a relationship like that. What if one day someone insults you in front of him? And he is incapable of standing up for you as your man, your protector, your best friend? He seriously lets his environment/entourage dictate how he should live his life? He needs their approval for whom he loves? We call that a WEAKLING where I come from. Get this fool out of your life girl. Interracial relationship or not, a girlfriend is a man's pride, his shining star and he wants the world to know that you are his. If its not the case then you shouldn't settle for any less.

    Just give it some time he is probably just adjusting to having a real relationship. Also u should talk to him and tell him how u feel .just dont lose yourself and what makes u happy .
