Gamble Responsibly

I have quite strict rules when it comes to playing the lottery and scratch cards.

I'm allowed one lottery draw ticket and one scratch card per month, as well as one extra one 15 days after Christmas, and after my birthday. I can also buy these on the day before the month begins, but no earlier, and if I don't buy tickets for a certain month, it doesn't carry over.

If I win anything, I can reinvest that money in more tickets anytime during that month, but I'm not allowed to spend any further money, and when the month ends, my winnings are locked in.

If I choose to purchase an expensive scratch card or a lottery draw ticket with a handful of extra numbers, I may do so, but at the expense of not being able to buy the other kind. (So if I buy a $10 scratch card, I don't get a lottery draw ticket.)

I may *not* purchase these with my credit card, unless I have real funds to back it up.

Kinda limiting, but it works. Lets me play every so often, and I don't get ruined by it. Once, I won $50 three times in a row on the Big Ticket ^^
