I Don't Know How To Get Through Losing Another Relative To Cancer

Hey guys

My aunt fought cancer on and off for almost 10 years before we lost her at the age of 50 in 2004. During one of her periods of remission we lost my grandad to this awful disease in 2000.

Last summer, my uncle went to hospital with jaundice and after a lot of messing around, he was eventually sent to a second hospital and diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. At first he was told that they could operate, then he was told that they couldn't and then he was again told that they could. He had the operation at the beginning of September last year and then in October was told that it had spread and is in his spine and liver and there's nothing to be done.

He's been on chemo since November but it's only going to give him more time!

It's so heartbreaking! I see him every Saturday (except when I'm poorly because I don't want to risk making him ill). He has no family of his own and lives with my gran who's in her 70s and doing her best to stay strong although she's already lost her husband and eldest daughter to the horrid disease!!
