Sex Creates A Connection That Holds Everything Together

It's Sex isn't the most important thing in marriage but it's still huge. It's the glue that holds everything else together. You may not realize this until it's missing.  In my marriage it's seriously missing to the point that I'm on a starvation diet.   You may not agree but this is how I feel. Once every few weeks with little contact at all in between fosters a lonely feeling that borders bitterness. My marriage needs a new balance or it'll die soon.

I know what you mean. And these (refusers) don't seem to be the refillable kinds of tubes. What to do? What to do?

maybe get your own tube?

My connection needs to be rehabbed. It's like squeezing the last bit from a tube of toothpaste thats basically empty but you can't throw it out just yet.

I understand this completely. I have also been forced onto a “sexual starvation diet” … for 22 of the 25 years of my marriage. I had no idea I was signing up for this crap … you know, the part where your spouse unilaterally controls your sex life.

I feel 100% controlled. Completely controlled!
