Without Warning

I write this for a friend...

Because you sometimes can not find the words...

And for probably thinking I didn't know...

It came innocently without warning
A faint sensation, each day brightening
A muted notion, a flicker burning.
Eagerness amassed with curiosity
Searching blindly, walking with uncertainty
The feeling gaining its intensity.

Longing for time to share together
Connection binding, growing tighter
Life seems to smile and feel better.
Hanging onto the night until morning
An ache, a thirst, a desire, a yearning
It came too familiar without warning.

*Sylph covers Dean's mouth*... then don't say it... shhh...<br />
But yeah, I liked that, too... a muted notion... but it can sure drive you crazy if it remains silent...<br />
Just sayin'...<br />
<br />
*Sylph shares happy thoughts with Glowy... using telepathy*... great minds think alike as Ever always say... "It" is just a big "it", huh?... that wonderful, sweet "it"... hmm...<br />
<br />
*Sylph tiptoes towards Kitti*... Surprise!!!<br />
Love the idea that things can be unexpected... just adds a certain sensation to an otherwise dull life... *hugs back*...

yes ... I love this ... sometimes the best things in life com without warning ..no?...*hugs sylph*

"It came too familiar without warning"<br />
<br />
Ah. Yes. "It" has been known to do that. Hope you're still feeling the happy thoughts, my faerie friend..

I think what I liked the most was the muted notion.

Thank you, Rog... it does seem universal, doesn't it? Hmm... never intended for it that way... but I think that happens when we try to uhm... be exposed but obscured... cryptic and puzzling... mysterious... dun-dun-dun...<br />
<br />
Jimmy... It's the simplest of all the lines... and I love the simplicity of it, too... it does draw a whole range of meanings... hmm... how could something simple be so complex???...

"Life seems to smile and feel better." I love that line the most. :)

K... haha... now the person does know!... thank you for appreciating the poem... *hugs*...<br />
<br />
Dean... you may end up sitting a long time... the writing comes and goes... must not be forced... so stand up and don't pressure me... *whack*...<br />
<br />
Becnme... Mick... why the name change? You confused me... haha...<br />
But thank you for your words... faeries love giving surprises... it is part of their mystique... *winks*...<br />
<br />
