Self Confidence Is Vey Important!!

I have difficulty accepting what and who I am; I’m constantly at odds with myself saying "I should be better, I should be something different." The good thing is I’ve recognized that I have a problem but dealing with it is next step…easier said than done. But...

“If I cannot accept myself as being human, how can I ever accept and trust others? If I cannot accept and trust others, how can I respect and love them? If I cannot respect and love others, how can they respect and love me?”

The most important relationship you have is the one with yourself, all the others are mirrors of this relationship.<br />

I too suffered with low self confidence and low self esteem for many years, some days I still do! I have read so many self help books and I practice techniques now that keep my confidence and esteem high each day. Once you begin to practice as everything else it does become easier believe me. Would love to chat some more.

I ask myself these questions, too. The living answer might take years to come...

Your right no one can love and except things about you that you can't love. Sometimes this seems like a vicious cycle. learning to focus on one thing at a time when the picture seems so big can be difficult. Start with you, except the things you can't change and change things things you can. What helped me was self talk. Those words you say in your head when you do something wrong or silly. The Names you call yourself or someone else in anger. Replace the negative words It may not seem like much, but it's a step in the direction of self acceptance allow yourself to be human. Even though you can't always control the situation your in you can change the way you think about it.

ahhh Sniffles!! Inspirational stuff!!

This is all very true, although I think what it really comes down to you is that you are perfect right at this moment for this moment - there is no other option, there can only be one version of you at this particular time. What is up for change is who you are next - and in that you have a choice, and you have all the power in the world. :)
