I Learned Something From My First Love
The first boy I've ever loved was again a tale from the 8th grade. (Thinking about it, life was a lot more exciting in middle school). We'll call him Jo.
I met him through a friend and I'll never forget the first thing that attracted me to him was his face. He was cute (definitely to me <3), but he looked so...impassive I guess and it made me wonder what was his mind. What hooked me was the same thing that hooks everyone to their loves, his smile. It completely changed the look on his face, but at the same time remained mysterious. His eyes saw right through me and it panicked my young heart to think that he could see through me and I just wanted him to talk to me forever and never stop. But first I'd have to get up the courage to talk to him anyway, and when I finally did it was fantastic. His voice shook me to the core and I loved it. We were together a good three months before I got so scared I had to break up with him. Now, he had never pressured me into anything or hit me, or ever raised his voice to me. I just didn't know what to do with him, he was older than me and I didn't understand the actual concept of relationships. I learned from him that I can't just do things impulsively, that I should talk about whatever is freaking me out so I don't lose something important to me, and I also learned that I was as important to him as he was to me, he wouldn't have let me go.
(Also, I'm still working on that talking bit...) xD
