Accept It Now

My early transition years were not easy. Though I may have had "dream come true" it left me still very messed up. Going through puberty was hell. It seems my body was fighting me every step of the way.I was on hormone treatment to make me female, but my head was really in a mess, the roller coaster of emotions so steep in places it did make me physically sick. I even considered ending it all just to end the pain, but it was pointed out by my psychologist that I would hurt so many people for much longer than my discomfort. I do understand why there are so many teen suicides.

As I got older my head began to straighten out and the roller coaster stopped running. I embrace that pain as a part of my right of passage. The roller coaster still runs sometimes, but  it no longer rules me.

That's two people that I have to thank for meeting you.

It's not so bad with that attendant that you have with you in life. Thank him for aloowing me to have the chance to meet you in life.
