People Walk All Over Me

I always do whatever my friends want because I am scared they won't want to be my friends otherwise. A lot of the time I end up doing things I really don't want to do just to make them happy. They take advantage of it too and make me do things like write their notes for them in class and tie their shoes but I don't really mind.

I'm hoping your joking about the last part - tying their shoe laces up. Because that borders on slavery! The rest I can relate to, you feel insecure about yourself and your worth so much that you are a people pleaser to your own cost. Maybe there are true friendships behind some of these guys that you let walk all over you, and I think as long as you don't hold it against them, keep hold of them, but make a change in your life! Don't say yes! to everything. I'm not saying be rude or annoyed each time they want something from you. Be blase, like it doesn't bother you, its nothing, and just say, I would really like to but I'm kinda busy etc. Just keep it light. As for the friends who you (rightly) resent for the way they treat you, and who will have something to say about your change, I think just leave them and move on. They are nothing but a blip on your radar.
