Why I'm Called FishsweeperMy Husband, a Ph.D. Environmental and Aquatic Biologist, and I used to own an environmental consulting company, and we invented an electrofishing boat that could catch 100 fish per hour in lakes and streams. A good team of biologists couldn't so that in a day! (Well, they could if there were enough people and they were lucky.) Anyway, the boat would stun fish just long enough to be 'vacuumed' into a holding tank, and either disposed of as infestational pests, or used as biological samples. I named that boat the 'Fishsweeper', and the name stuck with me!
