This Is One Of My Favourite Quotes From A Book Ever."I wanted so badly to lie down next to her on the couch, to wrap my arms around her and sleep. Not ****, like in those movies. Not even have sex. Just sleep together, in the most innocent sense of the phrase. But I lacked the courage and she had a boyfriend and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane."
- Looking For Alaska by John Green
You never hear a guy say something like that. It's just so unrealistic and that is why I think it's beautiful. I wish I could meet someone like this, but it's fictitious. But, I do think even women have felt this way before too. I've been in deep infatuation with someone who was so amazing, for lack of a better word. I longed to be held in his arms tightly in bed and just sleep together, not in a sexual way. But, that really isn't how it works.
