Imagination Vs Imagery

I became too easily distracted, too impatient and my attention span got shorter over the years.
It used to be that I'd immerse myself in a book for hours on end but now I use books as sleep aids.

What about film adaptations and their book equivalents?.
It takes about 2 hours to watch a movie while a book might set you back a couple days.
Yes, it almost feels like you're losing time if you choose a book over a movie.
So it is argued that movies suit our busy contemporary life style.
But do we really have less time?
I doubt it.
I got really lazy.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an old friend to visit.
