A Good Quote Can Win a Debate.

It doesn't matter what subject it is on, be it love, life, death or even political a good quote can make or break and argument, win a debate or even win over a person. Hell that is partly how I got my partner.

Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone elses opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation. - Oscar Wilde

Very true, because you are borrowing the authority of the source. This is why it is so important to quote heavyweights like Churchill and Franklin, even if the quote is just something your Uncle Ned made up in the middle of an ether-induced hallucination. As a rule, all quotes are by Oscar Wilde, Thomas Jefferson, or Casey Stengel.
