"Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise."
Benjamin Franklin

After staying up past 2am last night & having trouble getting started, Hubby reminded me of that quote. So i double check the author online. Of course once online...

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened"

my nights are filled with research like these.. but then i'm to tired during the day to do any of it for real..
in the evening i suddenly stop being sleepy though.. but by that time it's already too late to actually do anything.. but a lot of ideas start swarming in my head.. and i spend another night online researching them :)

Is it night where u are ? Research what?

Dont miss one of the greatest feats of nature, repeated in full stereovision every day — how the day slowly gets brighter, when the midnight blue turns to lighter blue, brilliant colors start to seep into the sky, nature painting incredible colors on the canvas of earth and sky.

it is not night right now, i'm in europe, GMT+1..

i like a few things...
first.. the turn-off.. the subtle quieting of everything.. this starts at about 10-11pm and peaks at about 1-2am

next, the birds.. they come into play at around 3am and peak at around 4 am. I would often take a break from the internet and go to the terrace at around half past 3 to listen to the birds..

and next comes the awakening.. the sunrise.. it comes so imperceptibly that i very often miss it and just get surprised when i look outside and see it's already "morning"
