Been Around Me....all My Life.

Growing up in my parents house..... you always heard music. Dad had speakers installed in almost every room. Even behind the bathroom mirror. He listened to big band and classical mostly. Mom always had the kitchen radio on, and tuned to WSBA. Which was an AM station that played the top 40 pop hits. Back then the FM stations were lame. She taught me to do "The Twist" in that kitchen. My older brother was into The Beatles, and Jimi Hendrix around that time. He was also learning to play the bass, as I wanted to play the drums. He eventually played in several local groups, and I got to be the soundtech. I played with a couple country rock bands, and a classic rock bands. On my way home from the gigs, I'd be headbanging to Metalica and Judas Priest. At one time, I was like the only kid I knew that liked disco, and hard rock at the same time. To this day, I really enjoy new music. I'm always open to new and groovy.
